Fellowships are open to:
- Early-career scholars (including recent master’s and Ph.D. graduates)
- Mid-career and senior researchers seeking to integrate AI into their fields
- Technical experts investigating how AI systems affect or are used by children
- Practitioner researchers from NGOs, UN agencies, governments, and civil society
Fellowships will be offered on an annual or biannual basis with flexible participation (approximately 2–4 hours per month)
Fellows will gain:

- Opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration and joint publications
- Invitations to symposia, webinars, and mentorship sessions
- Direct pathways to translate research into policy and practice
Scholars in the Global South
We especially welcome applications from scholars in the Global South and from underrepresented groups, recognizing that diverse perspectives are essential to understanding AI’s effects on all children — not just those in well-resourced settings.
